Simon Marxer, spa director at Miraval in Tucson, shared this recipe for a soothing footbath:

  • Fill a basin with hot water and add a few drops of rose essential oil, which acts like a natural antidepressant.
  • Mix four tablespoons of sea salt with three tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Gently exfoliate your feet with two tablespoons of the mixture, adding the rest to the footbath.
  • After soaking for 20 minutes, finish with your favorite cream.
